WiiFriik-Edition

Die Standard-Wii-Konsole ist eine wunderbare Multimedia-Maschine, leider sind im Ausliefer-Zustand nicht alle Funktionen freigeschaltet. Die WiiFriik-Edition erweitert die Wii um folgende Funktionen, OHNE dass das Gerät geöffnet wurde (installierte/vor-installierte Software):

• DVD-Player: Wiedergabe von Video-DVDs

• USB-Loader: Importieren und Exportieren von/auf am USB angeschlossenen Devices wie z.B. USB-Sticks oder externen Festplatten

• BackUp-Loader: Abspielen von Sicherheitskopien (*) zum Schutz der Original-Discs

• Homebrew-Channel: erlaubt das Installieren weiterer Anwendungen/Channel sowie das Spielen nicht-kommerzieller Spiele, Emulatoren etc.

(*) = Nur zulässig, wenn sich das Original im Besitz befindet!

WiiFriik edition

The Wii is an absolutely wonderful console, unfortunately Nintendo forgot to unleash its full power. The WiiFriik edition does this by adding some tools to the Wii system WITHOUT manipulating the hardware itself, it´s a sofware only modification, the Wii has never been opened.

Here´s a list of the additional features (pre-) installed on the WiiFriik edition:

• DVD playback: watch your DVDs using your Wii

• USB loader: allows you to import and export from/to devices connected to the Wii´s USB ports (e.g. flash drives or external hard drives)

• BackUp-loader: play backups from DVD-R/+R (*)

• homebrew-channel: get new / other channels for additional feature, play homebrew games or use emulators to play your fav former console games (SNES, NES etc.)
